Spaghetti & Meatballs Cook-along

Happy Saturday y'all! Are you ready to get cooking? Well here we go! You should have 1 lb of Italian sausage, 1 lb of hamburger, sauce & noodles! If you have them handy one egg and 1/4 cup of oatmeal...but those are optional as are the mushrooms! Be sure to wash your hands!

Mix both the sausage & hamburger together in a bowl ( I use my hands, it seems to work best)! Add the egg and oatmeal (optional) and then mix well-again with the hands!

Form your meatballs-whatever size you want them to be, I usually do various sizes because of the age range of our family.

Now feel free to wash all the junk off your hands :) Don't be afraid of food or of getting your hands dirty!

Next sear (brown) each meatball over medium heat on your griddle or a frying pan. Don't cook them through, just brown them...we don't want them to stick together in the crock. Once seared put them in your crock~pot and pour the spaghetti sauce (FFF Hubby wants me to try Alfredo Sauce today) over them and cook on mow all day, medium half, or high for 3 hours.

A few minutes before dinner make your noodles & veggie as well as garlic bread. Serve the meatballs over your noodles!

We will be eating ours at 6 pm PST, if you'd like to "eat" with us!!!

No crock~pot option: Cook the meatballs through instead of just searing and add to a pot and pour sauce over and heat until sauce is warm. This option is quick and easy as well, and yummy too!

Let me know what step your on as you do you join me on our first ever cook along!!!!

Blessings
 Becky
