Super Bowl (Food) Recap

Happy Monday y'all! I hope you had as much fun this weekend as we did! It was non stop, but so fun! We went to Home Depot Kid's Workshop on Saturday and the kids made little treasure boxes. Then off to Chuck-E-Cheese for a sweet lil' boys birthday party! What fun but after the party I had to grab some groceries-yes the day before Super Bowl!!! The store was insane but thank goodness it was only the girls and I as the boys had some other errands to take care of. We made it out alive and all in one piece!!! Then it was Sunday and time for the Super Bowl! FFF Hubby planned a party at our church and there was a great turn out with some delicious food!!! My niece and I made some Oreo stuffed brownies as well as some simple pizza rolls! But there was also some home made artichoke dip, chili, taco dip, mock Red Lobster biscuits and a ton of other stuff! Yes...no calorie counting yesterday!!! But I know you want to hear about how to make those Oreo stuffed brownies and the simple pizza rolls!!! Well the time has come! Now you too, can make them at home! They are both crazy simple, delicious and were a big hit!

Oreo Stuffed Brownies

Ingredients
  • 2 Boxes of brownie mix & ingredients needed on the instructions
  • 1 Bag of Oreos
Directions
  • Make brownie mix
  • Preheat oven according to directions on box
  • Grease 2 muffin tins really well (or use the liners)
  • Fill bottom of muffin cups with brownie mix
  • Put an Oreo in each muffin cup
  • Finish filling muffin cups-all the way or just enough to cover the Oreo (your choice)
  • Bake for 12-15 minutes

 Simple Pizza Rolls

Ingredients
  • 16 string cheese sticks (halved)
  • 1 bag of pepperoni
  • 3 tubes of refrigerated crescent roll dough
Directions
  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  • Take each triangle of crescent roll dough and place about 6 pepperoni on the bottom of the triangle.
  • Place half of a cheese stick on top and roll up.
  • Place seam side down on a cookie sheet and bake for 10-14 minutes or until golden brown.
There you have it! Some yummy, simple snacks and be sure to not eat them all yourself! Also I was making a bunch of these for the Super Bowl Party so you can, of course, make fewer of each! Enjoy!!

Blessings
Becky
