3 Ingredient Peanut Butter Cookies

Happy Monday! It's the beginning of another week! Can you believe we'll be in March on Thursday?! This year is just flying by!!! If you joined us on Six Word Saturday you saw some pictures of the cookies the girls and I were baking! I must admit the first time I tried the recipe I was very skeptical of it working and actually turning out. Using only 3 ingredients to make a cookie?! Wow! It just didn't seem right! I am here to tell you they are so delicious! Perfect for those days when the kids want to bake something all by themselves-except putting them in and out of the oven. I even venture to say you can go right out and bake these as soon as you're done reading won't need to go to the store!

3 Ingredient Peanut Butter Cookies
  • 1 cup peanut butter (I usually use chunky but have used creamy and results are still yummy)
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 1 egg
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Lightly grease a baking sheet.
  2. Combine the peanut butter, white sugar and egg. Mix until smooth.
  3. Drop spoonfuls of dough onto the prepared baking sheet. Dip fork in sugar and criss cross the tops. Bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for 6 to 8 minutes. Do not over-bake! These cookies are best when they are still soft and just barely brown on the bottoms.
You can always make more by using 2 cups peanut butter, 2 cups sugar and 2 eggs! I've even added chocolate chips to the recipe as well...But seriously these are so delicious!!! Now what are you waiting for? Go bake some!!!
PS-Don't forget to enter the 2 night stay in a Condo over at Estes the Rockies!!! Just click HERE to be taken to the post and entry!!! Good Luck!!!
